Opening Day

Opening Day Saturday, April 28, 2012

While we are open now and picking fresh Asparagus daily the official opening day will be on Saturday April 28. The warm spring has Asparagus about 2 weeks early and we have been picking fresh Asparagus every day for the last week.

This coming Saturday we will start offering annuals, hanging baskets, herbs and vegetable plants.  Traditionally it is best to wait until Memorial day to start planting but with this years warm spring safe planting may be much earlier. Pansies and some of the hardier annuals can be planted now. While it is too early to plant tomatoes they can benefit by being outside during the days to harden up and be ready for planting within the next month.

We will be opening the Ice Cream and food this Saturday as well. We start serving our traditional Polish favorites as well as Soft Serve Ice Cream, Frozen Yogurt as well as traditional hard Ice Cream.

We are looking forward to opening day and  hope to see you soon.
